Dstny 5G Public IP
5G Public IP is a specially developed solution from Dstny that adds a dedicated public IP address and DDoS protection to 5G Internet. 5G Public IP is an add-on to the 5G Internet service.
The solution enables external access to network devices and allows all traffic to be routed through the company’s own firewall. This provides full control and a high level of security.
Speed and recommendations
The router can deliver up to 100 Mbit/s, depending on the load on the mobile network and the router’s placement.
One local firewall can be connected to the router, where a fixed Public IP address is provided.
As latency on 5G may vary depending on network load, the solution is not suitable for streaming, gaming, or thin clients, due to potential delays in server response time.
The solution is well suited as a replacement for xDSL copper connections, for example in smaller retail stores, branch offices, or mobile offices at construction sites and similar environments.
Sending large files, images, backups, or streaming music is discouraged, as it may result in very high data usage.
