The rental of IP phones is carried out in accordance with Dstny’s general terms and conditions (see excerpts below regarding rental):

7. Ownership
To the extent that Dstny’s installations are placed at the customer’s premises, Dstny retains ownership of these. Upon termination of the agreement, the customer is obliged to return them to Dstny immediately. The customer is not entitled to exercise any right of retention over Dstny’s property in connection with any claims against Dstny. Equipment and installations owned by third parties but supplied via Dstny and placed at the customer’s premises remain the property of the third party and must be returned to Dstny upon termination, after which Dstny will transfer the equipment to the third party. Equipment not returned will be invoiced to the customer if it has not been returned within 14 days after termination of the agreement.

8. Liability
Dstny assumes no responsibility for loss of data, emails, installed software, etc., in connection with the customer’s use of Dstny’s services and hardware. Dstny also assumes no responsibility for unauthorized access to the customer’s data and internal systems, as the customer is responsible for maintaining a high level of security and exercising due care, including monitoring for unusual usage. Dstny reserves the right to implement preventive blocking of calls to certain areas/countries or functions; such blocks can generally be lifted upon request. When renting equipment owned by Dstny or a third party, the customer is responsible for insuring it. The customer is liable, in accordance with Danish law, for any damage to Dstny’s equipment and installations located at the customer’s premises. The customer also bears all risk related to Dstny’s equipment and installations at their premises, including theft, loss, and accidental damage such as fire, water damage, power surges, and lightning. The customer is obligated to compensate Dstny for any losses in such cases.

You must return the rented equipment to:

ATTN: “LEJE RETUR”

You are responsible for the cost of returning the equipment, and it must be returned no later than 14 days after the end of the notice period.

You can terminate your rental agreement with a notice period of the current month plus 3 months.

Termination requests must be sent to  kundeservice@dstny.dk. Remember to include the serial number / MAC address of the equipment you wish to terminate the rental agreement for.

An administration fee is charged in connection with termination of the rental agreement, calculated as follows:

  • Termination within 0–6 months – Administration fee: DKK 240 per phone (excl. VAT)
  • Termination within 7–12 months – Administration fee: DKK 100 per phone (excl. VAT)
  • Termination after 13 months – Administration fee: DKK 0

If you wish to purchase the rented equipment, simply send an email to  kundeservice@dstny.dk Remember to include the serial number / MAC address of the equipment in your email. Customer service will then inform you of the purchase price.

If your rented equipment is no longer working, you should send an email to  kundeservice@dstny.dk  with the serial number / MAC address of the defective equipment and return it to Dstny A/S marked: “RENTAL DEFECT”. We will then send replacement equipment as part of your rental agreement.

If your rented equipment is damaged, lost, or stolen, you must send an email to  kundeservice@dstny.dk including the serial number / MAC address and inform us of the situation. We will then issue an invoice for the missing equipment, and new rental equipment can be provided if requested.
